Jr. Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible in conducting software testing and quality assurance for applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop test cases based on the test design
    •
  • Create functional test plans and test designs for the product or feature under test
  • Works with project team and ensures quality of assigned applications
  • Maintains and generates data needed to execute test scenario/scripts
  • Participates in design reviews for the functional test definitions and plans
  • Reviews product requirement and design documents to determine scope of test development
  • Works with QA Team and participates in the identification, development, creation and improvement of the testing processes/framework
  • Regularly check the system for defects or issues
  • Report and document defects or issues to the development team
  • Executes functional test plans and test designs for the product or feature under test
  • Reviews Provides metrics and reports on test results/status

  • Documents test scripts in a common repository

  • Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent

  • Deep understanding and interest in Quality Assurance and Software testing
  • Knowledge in developing test scripts, system testing and debugging
  • Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools/software quickly
  • Knowledge with software automation testing is a plus
  • Must be patient and keen to details
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and planning skills;
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Willing to work with Hybrid set up (Work in the office, Ortigas Center, Pasig City and can work from home with computer/laptop and strong internet connection)
