Role Overview

The Network Quality Assurance Engineer ensures the resiliency, performance, and reliability of network infrastructure, including Backbone, Access, Enterprise, and Last Mile networks. The role leads service improvement initiatives, manages incident resolution, and drives operational excellence through continuous monitoring, analysis, and cross-functional coordination. The engineer also oversees maintenance planning, request management, and performance reporting to support strategic and operational objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1–2 years of experience in network operations with knowledge of Backbone, Access, Enterprise, or Last Mile networks.
  • Proven experience in network improvement projects, incident management, and root cause analysis.
  • Strong understanding of network architectures, fiber optics, and telecommunications infrastructure.
  • Experience with network monitoring, performance metrics, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker Studio, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Project management experience and familiarity with PM frameworks or methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with regional teams and service providers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Improvement Plans

  • Develop and implement service improvement initiatives across all network layers.
  • Resolve recurring incidents and optimize network services.

2. Ensure Resiliency & Reliability

  • Continuously monitor and enhance network stability and performance.

3. Incident Management

  • Track and analyze network incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures.

4. Coordination & Collaboration

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and MSPs for maintenance and network upgrades.

5. Request Management

  • Receive, prioritize, and process network improvement requests, including fiber and facility upgrades.

6. Reporting & Performance Metrics

  • Create dashboards and reports on network health, improvement initiatives, and KPIs.
  • Provide updates to support business and operational decision-making.
