The HR Officer (Compensation and Benefits) is responsible for managing and analyzing compensation and benefits data, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and developing policies that align with the company's culture. This role is essential in enhancing employee satisfaction through effective compensation strategies and process improvements.
Key Accountabilities:
• Prepare data for compensation and benefits analyses.
• Participate in salary and labor market surveys to determine prevailing pay rates and benefits.
• Calculate variable pay for employees, including salary, bonuses, and incentives.
• Analyze compensation data against policies and report non-compliant cases.
• Implement safekeeping of all confidential compensation and benefits documents.
• Conduct payroll audits and provide reports to the HR Manager.
• Facilitate compensation changes according to defined rules (salary adjustments, variable pay changes, etc.).
• Ensure timely submission of government reports and remittances (e.g., SSS).
• Ensure compliance with current government legislation regarding compensation practices.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with a sense of urgency.
• Trustworthy with a positive personality.
• Proactive in adding value to current HR processes by implementing process improvements in Compensation and Benefits.
• Fluent in English.
