Key duties include staff scheduling and training, resolving customer complaints, monitoring inventory, and collaborating with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service and a positive guest experience. Key responsibilities

  • Staff management: Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising food and beverage staff to ensure high-quality service.
  • Customer service: Ensuring a high standard of service, handling customer complaints and feedback, and making sure guests have a positive experience.
  • Operational oversight: Managing daily operations of the dining room, bar, or kitchen to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency.
  • Inventory and purchasing: Monitoring inventory levels, ordering supplies, and controlling costs.
  • Health and safety: Ensuring all operations comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Collaboration: Working with the kitchen and bar staff, as well as liaising with vendors.
  • Menu and promotions: Assisting with menu planning, promotions, and special events.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stress.
  • A degree in hospitality or a related field may be preferred.
