The Bar Manager oversees the daily operations of the hotel's bar outlets, ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction through exceptional beverage service, quality control, and efficient staff management. The role involves maintaining brand standards, maximizing profitability, and driving innovation in beverage offerings consistent with Seda Hotels' standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management

  • Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of the bar area and equipment at all times.
  • Monitor beverage quality, presentation, and consistency across all outlets.
  • Oversee the implementation of promotional activities and special beverage events to drive revenue.

Financial & Inventory Management

  • Manage beverage cost controls, monitor sales performance, and analyze revenue and profit reports.
  • Prepare and manage the bar's operating budget, forecasts, and cost control measures.
  • Oversee inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and ensure proper requisitioning and storage of beverages.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing and Cost Control for supplier management and price negotiations.

People Management

  • Supervise, train, and motivate bar staff to ensure professional service and adherence to company standards.
  • Conduct regular team briefings and performance evaluations.
  • Foster a positive and engaging work environment that encourages teamwork and career growth.

Guest Experience

  • Ensure a welcoming and engaging guest experience, addressing feedback and resolving complaints promptly.
  • Maintain high visibility during peak service hours to monitor operations and support the team.
  • Uphold Seda Hotels' brand standards in service delivery and guest interaction.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and occupational health regulations.
  • Oversee responsible service of alcohol in compliance with local laws and hotel policies.
  • Implement hotel safety and security protocols within the bar area.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in bar or beverage operations, preferably in a hotel or upscale dining environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledgeable in beverage trends, mixology, and inventory control systems.
  • Proficient in MS Office and POS systems.
