LINE COOK

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Station setup: Stock the cooking station with all necessary supplies and ingredients before each shift.
  • Food preparation: Clean, chop, and prepare ingredients like vegetables, meats, and sauces.
  • Cooking: Cook dishes to order using various methods such as grilling, frying, and sautéing, following standardized recipes.
  • Plating: Assemble and plate dishes according to the head chef's guidance and presentation standards

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • With NC III for Cooking is a plus.
  • Experience: One to three years of experience as a cook in a restaurant, hotel, or similar setting is essential.
  • Certifications: A food handler's permit or other food safety certifications are often required.
