Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Execute all food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, preparing meats, and portioning ingredients, according to established recipes and standards.
  • Cooking & Plating: Operate various kitchen equipment (stovetop, fryer, etc.) to cook dishes quickly and accurately, ensuring every plate meets our high standards for taste and presentation.
  • Station Management: Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work area/station throughout the shift.
  • Inventory & Storage: Assist with checking inventory, receiving supplies, and ensuring proper storage of food items (First-In, First-Out - FIFO).
  • Teamwork: Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff and the front-of-house team to ensure smooth and timely service.
  • Compliance: Adhere strictly to all hygiene, food safety, and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar role in a casual dining or fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred. Fresh grad is also encouraged to apply
  • Skills: Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume kitchen. Knowledge of basic Japanese cuisine is a plus, but not required.
  • Attitude: Punctual, reliable, team-oriented, and with a strong passion for food quality.
  • Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
  • Availability: Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
