Quantity Surveyor - Structural and Architectural

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conducting estimations and purchase order checks for all projects internal and external and ensure the best possible price for both scenarios.
  • managing all cost and quantity-related aspects of structural and architectural works
  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs (QTO) and bill of quantities (BOQ) based on approved drawings.
  • Assist in cost estimation, budgeting, and tender preparation for structural and architectural scopes.
  • Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.
  • Estimate/quantify work items based on approved construction drawings, existing field conditions, and specifications
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly manpower, materials, and equipment schedules
  • Prepare quantity takeoff and evaluate cost proposals
  • Prepare cost analysis on quotation to be submitted for bids
  • Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance works
  • Perform risk and value management and cost control

Qualifications:

  • With 3-5 years prior work experience functioning as a Quantity Surveyor during the construction implementation phase of a project
  • Must have a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Preferably a Licensed Civil Engineer.
  • Proficiency in MSFT Excel
  • Proven ability and experience preferably within the scaffold and construction industry.
  • Prepare project estimation and forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project based on approved plans and adjustments.
  • Monitor material balance between estimated and actual.
  • Manage tender documents and other quantity survey-related documents.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to think laterally and problem solve

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
