Job description
The Quantity Surveyor (MEPFS) sources all the costs estimated for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Sanitary components of construction projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepares quotations and tenders for projects.
- Assist in the procurement administration of the project and manage project budgeting, controlling of cash flow and cost, processing of claims, contract payment, and settlement of final accounts as well as maintaining proper documentation.
- Actively seek advice on how to improve processes and procedures for the Quantity Surveying Department.
- Helps in the preparation of tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation for MEPFS Trades.
- Pricing of MEPFS packages, billing evaluation, and costing.
- Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly.
- Perform tasks assigned by immediate superior from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Professional license is an advantage but not REQUIRED
- At least 4 - 5 Years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

- Required Skill(s): Surveying Software PLANSWIFT, AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and other related Mechanical Software/Tools.
- Experience in project estimating/budgeting within the vertical/horizontal Construction Industry.
- Understanding of critical path methodology to ensure and communicate timely delivery of milestone tasks.
Ability to do multi-tasking.
- Time management and can meet deadlines.
