About the role

At Tosen Foods Inc., we are seeking an experienced and driven Assistant Plant Manager to join our team in our Meycauayan City Bulacan facility. As an Assistant Plant Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing plant, ensuring efficient production and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This is a full-time, on-site position that offers excellent opportunities for career growth and development.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist the Plant Manager in the overall management and coordination of plant operations
  • Monitor production processes, identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks to maintain efficient and consistent output
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality and environmental regulations
  • Implement and oversee lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage and develop a team of production supervisors and operators, providing guidance, training and performance feedback
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, maintenance and quality, to optimise plant operations
  • Analyse production data and provide recommendations for process improvements and cost-savings measures
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the plant's strategic plans and objectives

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production management role, preferably in the food processing industry
  • Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and lean production principles
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management experience, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to interpret and use data to drive operational efficiencies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management or a related field
