Key Responsibilities

1. Receiving and Inspection

  • Receive incoming raw materials from suppliers following company receiving procedures.
  • Check delivery documents (PO, DR, invoice) and ensure accuracy in quantity, description, and quality.
  • Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the Warehouse Supervisor and Quality Control.

2. Storage and Handling

  • Properly label and store materials according to product classification, FIFO/FEFO, and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in the raw materials storage area.

3. Issuance and Dispatch

  • Prepare and issue raw materials to production based on approved requisitions or batch requirements.
  • Record all withdrawals and returns accurately in warehouse logs or ERP system.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to production to avoid downtime.

4. Inventory Management

  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
  • Monitor stock levels and report potential shortages or overstocks.
  • Participate in periodic physical inventory counts with Accounting and Audit teams.
  • Ensure that on-time replenishment of Raw Materials regularly

5. Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of receipts, issuances, transfers, and adjustments.
  • Prepare daily and monthly warehouse activity and inventory reports.
  • Ensure proper documentation is filed and readily available for audit purposes.

6. Compliance and Safety

  • Follow company policies on warehouse safety, hygiene, and material handling.
  • Adhere to FEFO/FIFO and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.
  • Report unsafe conditions, accidents, or incidents to the Plant Manager immediately.

Qualifications

  • At least Technical/Vocational Graduate or College level is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in warehousing or logistics, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Knowledgeable in inventory control procedures, material handling, and warehouse documentation.
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials when required.
  • With basic computer skills (MS Excel, Warehouse Management System preferred).
