Sales Executive

The Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business and strengthening existing relationships to drive room and banquet revenue across all Sunlight Hotels and Resorts properties. This role focuses on developing corporate, leisure, MICE, and travel trade accounts through proactive sales efforts, client servicing, and on-ground market activation.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Generation & Account Management
- Achieve individual and team sales targets through active selling, lead generation, and conversion.
- Identify, qualify, and develop new corporate, group, and travel accounts.
- Manage and grow assigned accounts by maintaining regular communication and providing tailored offers.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts aligned with brand standards and pricing strategy.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify new opportunities.
Client Servicing & Relationship Building
- Conduct regular client visits, hotel inspections, and business development activities.
- Represent Sunlight Hotels and Resorts at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
- Maintain long-term partnerships through excellent customer service and prompt after-sales follow-up.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Reservations, Banquets, and F&B teams to ensure client satisfaction.
Sales Administration & Reporting
- Update and maintain accurate client information and sales activities in the CRM system.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports including pipeline, conversion rates, and forecast performance.
- Ensure compliance with all brand, pricing, and contractual policies.
Collaboration & Brand Alignment
- Work closely with the Marketing team to support promotions, campaigns, and social media content.
- Collaborate with property-level operations to execute events and group stays smoothly.
- Uphold Sunlight Hotels and Resorts' brand values of warmth, authenticity, and world-class hospitality in every client interaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience preferably in hotel or hospitality sales but not required.
- Strong network in corporate, travel, or MICE sectors is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficient or willing to learn the use of CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and digital communication tools.
- Highly motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willing to travel and represent the brand across multiple locations when required.
Performance Metrics
- Monthly, quarterly, and anual revenue targets.
- Lead-to-booking conversion rate.
- New account acquisitions and market penetration growth.
