Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely together with VP Operations to analyze situations, conceptualize solutions, and implement and ensure success of such solutions across the organization, across various business units, projects and disciplines

  • Projects and scope of work can include varied situations that can include but are not limited to:

  • Order processing

  • Sales administration

  • Online sales

  • Consignment sales

  • Management of special purpose departments

  • Marketing-related functions / activities

  • Warehousing and logistics

  • Finance, accounting and other office-based work

  • Building and office administration

  • Purchasing

  • Projects and scope of work can include varied situations including:

  • Hands-on project management --being assigned to run a specific project or task and ensure successful conceptualization, planning and / or implementation
  • Project coordination -- being assigned to coordinate with various team members from different departments to ensure successful execution
  • Monitoring and follow ups -- being assigned to monitor, follow up, and keep track of various situations that affect the company's operations
  • Process planning and design -- being assigned to plan out processes, workflows, procedures and steps for implementation by company team members, taking into account other factors such as cost, speed, complexity, etc.
  • Special project --any other projects either big or small that may be assigned from time to time

Key Requirements/Skills & Experience:

  • University degree in Business / Management / Industrial Engineering / Systems Analysis or similar courses
  • A bachelor's degree is required for this position
  • Preferably, at least 2-3 years of work experience in a leadership and/or managerial role involving operational work, work planning, execution in a variety of settings, including supervision of team members. Applicants with no previous experience in the field may be evaluated on their other credentials/background.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of previous managerial or leadership experience is required
  • Ideally with a background working across broad members of the organization, including warehouse/delivery organizations and not only those within his/her department
  • Background working with retail/distribution organizations is an advantage
  • Advanced proficiency in office software (example: Excel, Powerpoint, Email) and internet/web based software
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills in English and Filipino
  • Inclusive team worker and motivated, dynamic team leader
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
