Job Summary

The Installer Supervisor oversees and coordinates the on-site installation of modular buildings, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements. This role involves managing installation crews, scheduling activities, and maintaining clear communication between field teams, project managers, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality modular installations on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coordinate, and support installation teams during modular building set-up, alignment, finishing, and utility connections.
  • Ensure that all site activities comply with safety regulations, company policies, and local building codes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, installation drawings, and project specifications to plan and execute installation tasks effectively.
  • Schedule daily work activities, assign responsibilities to crew members, and ensure proper resource allocation.
  • Coordinate deliveries, crane operations, and subcontractor activities to maintain project timelines.
  • Inspect and verify installation quality, addressing deficiencies and ensuring completion to company standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, equipment usage, and project progress.
  • Communicate proactively with project managers, engineers, and clients regarding site conditions, progress, and challenges.
  • Train and mentor installation crew members, promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship.
  • Troubleshoot on-site issues, making decisions that minimize delays and ensure compliance with project plans.

Qualification

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in modular construction, prefabrication, or general construction installation.
  • Proven experience supervising installation or construction crews.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • In-depth understanding of modular building assembly, and installation logistics.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel to job sites as required.
