The E-commerce Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of an online store, ensuring smooth order processing, accurate product listings, and excellent customer experience. This role works closely with the operations, marketing, and customer support teams to maintain store performance and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Listing & Content Management
  • Create, update, and optimize product listings (titles, descriptions, pricing, attributes, and images) across e-commerce platforms.
  • Ensure product details are accurate, complete, and aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Order Management
  • Monitor daily orders and coordinate with fulfillment teams regarding packing, shipping, and delivery.
  • Track shipments and resolve delivery issues with couriers when needed.
  • Inventory Monitoring
  • Update stock levels, track shortages, and coordinate with suppliers for replenishments.
  • Prevent overselling through accurate inventory management.
  • Customer Support
  • Handle customer inquiries via chat, email, or platform messaging.
  • Manage returns, refunds, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Store Operations
  • Assist in setting up promotions, vouchers, and campaigns.
  • Monitor store performance metrics (conversion rate, traffic, order volume) and prepare basic reports.
  • Administrative Tasks
  • Keep records organized, update spreadsheets or dashboards.
  • Support the e-commerce team in daily administrative tasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations, or a related field (optional but preferred).
  • Experience in e-commerce operations, admin support, virtual assistance, or customer service is a plus.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome if they have strong organizational and computer skills.
  • Familiar with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopee, Lazada, Tiktok)
  • Basic knowledge of spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel).
  • Ability to navigate order management and inventory tools.

Soft Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Problem-solving skills, especially for customer or order issues.
