Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and portion control guidelines.
  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented consistently and meets quality standards.
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before and during service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment.
  • Assist in receiving and properly storing deliveries.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Communicate clearly and work effectively with other team members and kitchen staff.
  • Assist with prep work, inventory control, and minimizing food waste.
  • Adhere to restaurant policies, procedures, and health regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferred.
  • Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Food handler's certification (where required).
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Work in hot, fast-paced kitchen environments.
