About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled
Principal Systems Administrator – DevOps Lead
to drive automation, scalability, and reliability across infrastructure and application deployments. If you excel in CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud environments, this role is a perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications.
  • Drive and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
  • Lead the overall DevOps strategy across development, QA, and production.
  • Collaborate with Development and IT Ops teams to streamline deployments.
  • Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and security.
  • Manage and support container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm).
  • Ensure compliance, governance, and security across automated workflows.
  • Troubleshoot complex deployment and infrastructure issues.
  • Mentor junior engineers and champion DevOps best practices.
  • Enhance release processes and overall system stability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years
    of experience in DevOps, System Administration, or related technical roles.
  • Strong background in cloud, automation, and large-scale infrastructure.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Strong scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell.
  • Deep familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools.
  • Expertise in Docker & Kubernetes.
  • Experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, and security protocols.
  • Strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • GitOps (ArgoCD), service mesh (Istio/Linkerd).
  • Serverless computing experience.
  • Knowledge of SOC 2 / ISO 27001 compliance frameworks.
  • Cloud cost optimization and DevSecOps exposure.
