We are looking for an 
Azure

DevOps Engineer

to join our team at Pointwest Innovations Corporation. The role is focused on building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure tasks, and ensuring our cloud and server environments remain stable, scalable, and efficient. You will work closely with developers, IT teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that enable rapid and reliable deployments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable deployments.
  • Automate recurring infrastructure and operational tasks to improve efficiency.
  • Support and monitor Azure cloud services, Linux, and Windows server environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and infrastructure issues quickly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of applications.
  • Maintain clear documentation and runbooks for operational excellence.

  • High system uptime and deployment success rates.
  • Faster release cycles and reduced manual work through automation.
  • Cost-efficient use of cloud and infrastructure resources.
  • Strong collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or system administration.
  • Proficiency in 
    PowerShell

and 
Bash

(Python is a plus).
- Strong experience with 
Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines

and Git workflows.
- Hands-on expertise with 
Azure App Services, Function Apps, and resource management

.
- 2+ years administering 
Linux and Windows servers

, including IIS deployments.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration skills.
