About the role

RCG Global Services' is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Makati City, Metro Manila. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between software development and IT operations, ensuring seamless and efficient delivery of our clients' software solutions. This full-time, hybrid role with a night shift schedule offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's growth and innovation.

What you'll be doing

  • Automate and streamline the software development and deployment process using tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address infrastructure and operational challenges
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of our applications
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of our DevOps practices and implement best practices
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-based architectures
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to enhance their DevOps skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell
  • Hands-on experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation
  • Understanding of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience with monitoring and logging solutions, such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
