The Development Operations Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines that support continuous integration and delivery. This role focuses on ensuring system reliability, performance, and security while optimizing automation and operational efficiency using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform.

The ideal candidate has strong cloud infrastructure experience, a deep understanding of DevOps principles, and the ability to collaborate closely with development and operations teams to streamline software delivery and system stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support scalable and reliable applications.
• Implement and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes (GKE).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Terraform and Ansible.
• Develop, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless code integration and deployment.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for scalability and reliability.
• Manage cloud security, including IAM roles, service accounts, and network policies.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure DevOps practices are integrated throughout the software lifecycle.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting tools to ensure high system uptime and performance visibility.
• Ensure cost optimization across cloud environments while maintaining system performance and resilience.
• Provide technical documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team.

What You Need:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering roles.

• Technical Skills:

• Cloud Platform: Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) — including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and VPC Networking.

• Containerization: Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes (GKE) for deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in Terraform for cloud resource provisioning and management.
• Configuration Management: Practical experience with Ansible for automation of configuration, deployment, and orchestration.
• CI/CD Tools: Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar tools.
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git and modern branching strategies.
