JOB DESCRIPTION
The Chef de Partie for Toby's Estate Coffee Roasters is responsible for the success and overall performance of the kitchen department/section in an outlet. A CDP is responsible for all culinary dishes that are prepared in their section.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Adherence to Standards
- Assist and supervise in opening and closing procedures for kitchen operations.
- Supervise and monitor daily food preparation and duties assigned by the superiors to meet standard and quality set by the kitchen and operations department.
- Ensures collaborations with inter-department in the outlet in terms of kitchen updates; menu items, existing recipes, methods of production and presentation standards.
- Ensures proper grooming and personal hygiene is strictly followed based on the kitchen sanitary guidelines.
Operational Efficiency
- . Ensures proper kitchen operations work flow is properly conducted while maintaining and managing strict guidelines of waste reduction and avoidance of spoilage of products/resources.
- Ensure proper forecasting and ordering of kitchen item, products and ingredients.
Administration
- Coordinates daily tasks, issues and needed documentations to either the Sous Chef, Head Chef or restaurant manager.
- Liaise daily with outlet heads to keep open lines of communication regarding kitchen updates, manpower staffing, productivity and guest feedback.
Customer Service
- Ensure that guests' special requests for their food orders are accommodated butstill within our standards.
QUALIFICATION
- Senior Highschool Graduate
- With minimum of a year experience handling kitchen
- Organized and with high ethical standards
- Knowledge on Food Safety
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php20, Php22,000.00 per month
