About the Role

We are seeking a creative and community-driven Marketing Coordinator to help attract potential participants, families, providers, and referrers within the NDIS and broader healthcare community.

This role is ideal for someone with healthcare, disability sector, or NDIS experience whether lived, learned, or professional. Your insights will help shape brand messaging and ensure authentic, participant-focused communication.

You will lead marketing initiatives designed to increase visibility, generate participant enquiries, and amplify the organisation's presence across digital and community platforms.

Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing & Engagement

  • Manage social media platforms, content calendars, and scheduled posting.
  • Create digital campaigns focused on participant attraction and community engagement.
  • Build relationships with community groups, providers, and sector stakeholders.
  • Strengthen brand awareness through targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct lead-generation activities across digital platforms and nurture warm leads (non-phone based).
  • Monitor campaign performance and recommend optimisation strategies.

Outbound Calls / Cold Calling:

  • Conduct structured outbound calls to potential participants, families, referrers, and providers to introduce services, qualify interest, and generate leads.
  • Follow call scripts, outreach sequences, and engagement frameworks.
  • Record outcomes, maintain accurate CRM notes, and escalate warm leads for follow-up.
  • Represent the brand professionally, ensuring calls align with the organisation's values and participant-centric approach.

Content & Communication

  • Draft, design, and schedule newsletters for participants, families, and providers.
  • Create compelling social media content, provider spotlights, and educational materials.
  • Develop blog topics and utilise AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to streamline content creation.
  • Produce outreach sequences and automated email journeys that drive engagement and enquiries.

SEO, Content, and Website Support

  • Collect and coordinate testimonials, success stories, and participant highlights.
  • Maintain up-to-date website content, FAQs, and resource pages.
  • Support basic website updates and content improvements as needed.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp).
  • Strong understanding of social media management and community building.
  • Confident using Canva, Buffer, and AI creative tools.
  • Knowledge of the NDIS sector whether lived, learned, shared, or professional.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to translate ideas into engaging content.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred (Not Essential)

  • Background in healthcare, allied health, disability support, or NDIS engagement.
  • Basic SEO, website management, or digital analytics experience (WordPress, Webflow, Wix).
  • Understanding of participant pathways and community engagement principles.
