Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, IT, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in data privacy, compliance, or related roles.
  • Good knowledge of the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 and NPC guidelines.
  • Experience in writing privacy policies and managing data protection procedures.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.

  • With a Certification in Data Privacy (e.g. CIPP, CIPM, NPC-certified) is an advantage.

  • Experience in manpower, BPO, or service-related industries is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with data privacy risk assessments, audits, and handling third-party compliance is an advantage.

Job Summary:

The Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that TGServices, Inc. complies with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and related regulations. This role oversees the implementation of privacy policies, manages data protection risks, and ensures proper handling of personal data across the company's operations, especially in HR, operations, and client servicing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data privacy policies and guidelines.
  • Conduct privacy risk assessments and compliance audits.
  • Handle data subject access requests and manage responses.
  • Investigate and report data privacy incidents or breaches.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure data protection compliance.
  • Deliver privacy awareness training to employees and teams.
  • Stay updated with laws, and coordinate with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) when needed.
  • Maintain documentation (e.g. ROPA, consent forms, privacy notices).
