Hotel Manager

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our upscale hotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. The Hotel Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the hotel, including guest services, staff supervision, budget management, and overall operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Guest Services: Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by maintaining high service standards.

Address and resolve guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally.

Implement and uphold quality assurance standards.

Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise hotel staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Conduct regular staff meetings and performance reviews.

Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day hotel operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.

Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures.

Work closely with department heads to coordinate activities and resolve operational challenges.

Financial Management: Develop and manage the hotel budget, ensuring financial goals are met.

Monitor expenses, revenue, and profitability.

Implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.

Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to promote the hotel and increase occupancy rates.

Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain guests.

Facility Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the hotel facilities.

Coordinate with maintenance staff to address any repairs or improvements.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in hotel management, with a track record of successful leadership.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, industry trends, and guest service principles.
  • Proficient in hotel management software and Microsoft Office.
