Qualifications

  • Must be Licensed Civil Engineer with experience in handling Projects especially housing or buildings (preferably with experience as Project-in-charge)
  • At least 2 years experience
  • Must be an engineer from Negros Occidental or Negros Oriental.
  • Preferably with a valid driver license with eligibility to operate/drive a motorcycle.

Duties and responsibilities

  1. The job of a project site engineer is to oversee and manage the construction project on-site.

  2. Coordinating with the design team to ensure that the project is built according to the plans and specifications

  3. Supervising construction workers and ensuring that they work efficiently and safely
  4. Managing the project schedule and budget, ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget
  5. Ensuring that the construction site meets all safety and regulatory requirements
  6. Communicating with stakeholders, including the project owner, subcontractors, and vendors
  7. Preparing reports and updates on the project's progress

  8. Trainer: The job of a trainer is to educate and train personnel on-site, ensuring that they have the necessary skills to complete their tasks effectively and safely

  9. Developing and implementing training programs for construction workers, ensuring that they are up-to-date with the latest techniques and safety requirements

  10. Providing on-the-job training and guidance to workers as needed
  11. Ensuring that workers understand their job responsibilities and follow best practices
  12. Assessing workers' skills and identifying areas where additional training may be needed
  13. Creating training materials, such as manuals, videos, and presentations
  14. Maintaining training records and documentation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction or similar
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Additional certificates or licenses may be required.
  • Sound knowledge of Engineering, construction, and design.
  • Great leadership and organizational skills.
  • Superb project management skills.
  • Ability to apply logical and critical thinking skills to projects.
  • Great written and verbal communication skills.
  • A willingness to learn.
  • Proficient in MS Project, AutoCAD 2D/3D, and PowerPoint presentations.
