Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

We're looking for a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team and spearhead the design and technical execution of our electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure projects nationwide. This pivotal role ensures our sites are designed for reliability, safety, and efficiency, while maintaining close coordination with local utility companies and our internal project teams throughout the entire design-build-install process.

Key Responsibilities

Site Design & Engineering

• Develop comprehensive electrical site designs for EV charging installations, from initial concept to detailed construction documents.
• Create essential technical drawings, including one-line diagrams, load calculations, and panel schedules, to support seamless project execution.
• Specify appropriate switchgear, transformers, conductors, conduit, and protection equipment, ensuring full compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all local building codes.

Utility Coordination

• Act as the primary point of contact with electric utilities to assess service availability, determine load requirements, and manage interconnection needs.
• Prepare and submit utility applications, detailed drawings, and supporting documentation for approval.
• Resolve technical questions and coordinate service upgrades or new service installations to meet project timelines.

Project Support

• Provide expert engineering guidance and technical support to our project managers and field teams during the construction phase.
• Review and verify submittals, shop drawings, and as-built documents for accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
• Ensure all designs are constructible, cost-effective, and delivered on schedule to support overall project success.

Compliance & Quality

• Guarantee all designs meet NEC, IEEE, and local jurisdiction requirements for safety and functionality.
• Stay up to date on emerging EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) technology, utility tariffs, and industry best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
• Uphold our high-quality standards in all engineering deliverables.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (BSEE) is required, and a Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred or a willingness to obtain one.
• 3–5 years of experience in power distribution, electrical design, or a related field.
• Proven familiarity with EVSE (Level 2 and DCFC), utility service design, and medium/low-voltage electrical systems.
• Proficiency in design and analysis software such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office. Experience with SKM or similar load analysis tools is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with utilities, Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs), contractors, and various project stakeholders.

Pay: Php25, Php35,000.00 per month
