Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Development: Customize Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and relevant modules) through declarative (Flows, Process Builder) and programmatic (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components) means.
- Integration: Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware (e.g., MuleSoft), and custom connectors.
- Data Management: Develop data migration strategies and tools (e.g., Data Loader, ETL scripts), ensure data integrity, and perform regular data quality audits.
- Configuration & Administration: Manage user roles, profiles, permissions, workflows, validation rules, and reports/dashboards to support business processes.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain clear technical design documents, configuration guides, and release notes.
- Support & Troubleshooting: Provide Tier 2/3 support; identify, triage, and resolve performance issues, bugs, and user-reported defects.
- Collaboration & Agile Delivery: Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and code reviews; collaborate closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders.
- Best Practices & Continuous Improvement: Enforce coding standards, implement automated testing (e.g., Apex tests), and drive continuous process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I (required); Platform Developer II or Administrator (preferred).
- Experience:
- 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and administration.
- Proven track record integrating Salesforce with external systems (REST/SOAP).
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Salesforce DX, Development and Administration, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal/written communication skills; able to work effectively in a distributed, agile team environment.
- Security & Compliance: Familiarity with Salesforce security model, GDPR, HIPAA, and other relevant compliance frameworks.
