About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Officer with solid experience in the renewable energy or infrastructure sector. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, driving project development, and building strong partnerships that support the company's long-term growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities within the renewable energy or infrastructure sectors.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.
  • Develop proposals, business cases, and pitch presentations for potential partners, investors, and clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, developers, contractors, and financial institutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support project development, feasibility studies, and commercial negotiations.
  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales pipeline, and revenue forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or any related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in business development, preferably within renewable energy (solar, wind, hydro, biomass) or infrastructure (transport, utilities, construction).
  • Strong understanding of project development processes and commercial structures.
  • Proven ability to build networks, negotiate deals, and close opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of government policies and regulatory frameworks related to renewable energy or infrastructure.
  • Experience in PPP projects, EPC engagements, or project financing is an advantage.
  • Strong project management background.
