The HR Assistant supports the Human Resources department in the day-to-day administrative tasks and HR functions. This role helps ensure smooth and efficient operations of HR services, including recruitment, employee records management, onboarding, benefits coordination, and HR compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support

  • Maintain and update employee records, databases, and files (digital and hard copy)
  • Prepare HR documents, such as employment contracts, onboarding packets, and HR reports
  • Assist in processing payroll-related information and timesheets
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, interviews, and training sessions

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Post job openings on job boards and company website
  • Screen resumes and schedule interviews
  • Assist in conducting reference checks and pre-employment requirements
  • Coordinate onboarding activities and prepare welcome kits for new hires

Employee Relations & Communication

  • Act as a point of contact for HR-related queries from employees
  • Help coordinate employee engagement activities and internal communications
  • Support HR initiatives and events (e.g., wellness programs, team building)

Compliance & Policy

  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date and communicated
  • Support the implementation of company policies and guidelines
  • Assist in tracking compliance training and certifications

Other Duties

  • Assist with benefits enrollment and inquiries
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive HR and employee information
  • Perform other HR-related duties as assigned by the HR Manager
