This role blends technical expertise in Shopify with creative marketing execution, ensuring that our e-commerce operations, content, and campaigns run seamlessly. From managing product listings and optimizing store performance to coordinating social content and creating marketing assets, this position is ideal for a resourceful, detail-oriented professional who thrives at the intersection of e-commerce and digital marketing.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a versatile Shopify & Marketing Resource to manage and optimize our Shopify store while supporting marketing initiatives across multiple channels. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in Shopify administration, comfortable handling graphics and content for social media and email campaigns, and eager to collaborate with internal teams and external partners (including our ad agency). While expertise in Shopify is the most critical requirement, we are also looking for someone who brings creativity, organization, and a willingness to learn new platforms such as Klaviyo.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Shopify Management (Core Focus)

  • Oversee all aspects of the Shopify store, including product uploads, pricing updates, inventory checks, and site optimization.
  • Implement theme customizations, troubleshoot store issues, and ensure smooth site performance.
  • Maintain a consistent and branded shopping experience across product pages, checkout, and content.
  • Apply SEO best practices to product listings and collections.

2. Content Creation & Marketing Support

  • Design graphics for social media posts, in-store use, and Klaviyo email campaigns.
  • Assist in writing and formatting blog entries to support SEO and brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm content ideas and maintain brand consistency.
  • Support campaign execution, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.

3. Email Marketing & Klaviyo (Training Provided if Needed)

  • Assist with building and designing email templates in Klaviyo.
  • Support ongoing email campaigns including product launches, promotions, and newsletters.
  • Analyze email performance and provide insights for improvement.

4. Social Media Coordination

  • Schedule and post content across social platforms.
  • Coordinate content calendars and ensure posts align with brand and campaign goals.
  • Track engagement metrics and flag trends or opportunities.

5. Collaboration & Strategy

  • Join meetings with the ad agency and internal teams to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned.
  • Provide input and data from Shopify, social, and email performance to inform campaigns.
  • Act as a point person for integrating marketing strategies with e-commerce operations.

6. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience: 2–4 years in e-commerce, with direct Shopify experience required.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Shopify (store management, product setup, site maintenance, SEO).
  • Marketing Skills: Experience with social media posting, content coordination, and graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Email Marketing: Experience with Klaviyo is a plus; willingness to learn is required.
  • SEO: Knowledge of on-page SEO for blogs and product listings.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work closely with ad agencies, cross-functional teams, and external partners.
