The E-Commerce Intern will support the Aeroworx Tech and Innovation team in developing, documenting, and optimizing digital processes related to online retail operations. The intern will gain hands-on experience in e-commerce systems, project support, Shopify website management, and process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Documentation Creation (20 hours)

  • Develop comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, and meeting minutes.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, organized, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the team to align documentation with project objectives.

2. Process Flow Chart Design (80 hours)

  • Design process flow charts to visualize e-commerce workflows and identify improvement areas.
  • Analyze existing processes to propose efficiency-enhancing solutions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and optimize productivity.

3. Project Support (80 hours)

  • Assist in project planning, tracking, and reporting of e-commerce initiatives.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Help troubleshoot issues, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.

4. System Understanding and Integration (100 hours)

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the systems and technologies used in the company's e-commerce platforms.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to understand system functionalities and integration points.
  • Demonstrate how interconnected systems support the overall business process.

5. Process Optimization and Shopify Implementation (40 hours)

  • Research industry best practices and emerging trends in e-commerce and digital operations.
  • Recommend and support the implementation of process enhancements, particularly in Shopify website optimization.
  • Contribute to testing and rollout of improved workflows and methodologies.

Learning Opportunities:

  • Hands-on exposure to e-commerce systems and process improvement strategies.

  • Mentorship and feedback from experienced supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, E-Commerce, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace; familiarity with Shopify or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and willing to learn in a dynamic environment.
