Your day at NTT DATA
The Associate Sales Operations and Enablement Specialist is an entry level subject matter expert, accountable for learning the skills to support on sales processes, tools, methods and systems that will enable the sales teams to achieve overall sales goals and objectives.  
This role contributes to the implementation of business activities and processes that help the sales organization run effectively and efficiently in support of business strategies and objectives.
Key responsibilities:
- Assists with gathering data and conducting analysis of company sales and profitability.
 - Supports the development of methods for measuring company sales performance.
 - Assists with examining sales processes, programs, and systems to minimize costs and improve customer satisfaction.
 - Assists with sharing reports and sales data between sales, marketing, and other departments.
 - Supports sales teams by creating, evaluating and optimising data sets and sales applications and platforms.
 - Receives detailed instructions to implement sales forecasting by analysing past data and trends to forecast future sales.
 - Assists with training new and current employees on sales and marketing collateral, product sets, sales processes, systems and tools.
 - Assists with the establishment of sales fulfilment processes and makes recommendations for sales operations enhancement.
 - Supports the preparation of monthly and quarterly sales reports and ensure distribution to relevant internal stakeholders.
 - Assists Sales team and management with pipeline management, including but not limited to pipeline integrity (data entry compliance), competitive data, ROI data, etc.
 - Assists with onboarding new sales team members on all toolsets and processes.
 - Plays a supporting role in increasing sales team productivity by directly contributing to the efficiency of sales processes.
 - Assists with monitoring and striving to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization's planning efforts.
 - Supports the identification of opportunities for sales process improvement, working closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
 
To thrive in this role, you need to have:
- Some understanding of the vast range of IT operations and service offerings.
 - Relevant demonstrable knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs.
 - Some business and commercial acumen.
 - Ability to collaborate and interact professionally and to build sound working relationships.
 - Some understanding of the relevant sales environments and ability to grasp the challenges facing the sales force.
 - Displays the ability to identify trends and areas for improvement.
 - Some understanding of solution selling concepts and solid knowledge on sales process design.
 - Displays problem analysis and solution formulation skills.
 - Demonstrates learning and service orientation.
 - Some knowledge and understanding of sales processes, tools and methodologies.
 
Academic qualifications and certifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or sales or a related field.
 - Relevant certifications such as SPIN and Solution Selling are desirable.
 
Required experience:
- Entry level of experience with Salesforce.
 - Entry level of experience with quote tools is an advantage.
 - Entry level of sales or sales operations and enablement experience in a business-to-business sales environment, preferably a global technology organization.
 - Entry level of experience building sales metrics and models (for example, pipeline and forecast models).
