About the role

Join Southwest Luzon Power Generation Corporation as a Learning and Development Assistant Manager. In this full-time role based in Calaca, Batangas, you will play a key part in supporting the growth and development of our talented team. Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, you will contribute to the strategic planning and implementation of our L&D initiatives to drive employee engagement and performance.

What you'll be doing

  1. Collaborate with the Learning and Development Manager to identify training needs and design effective programmes to address them
  2. Deliver and facilitate a variety of training sessions, including face-to-face, virtual and self-paced e-learning
  3. Manage the delivery of training initiatives, including scheduling, participant registration, and post-training evaluations
  4. Provide coaching and mentoring support to help employees develop their skills and reach their full potential
  5. Maintain training records, analyse data, and generate reports to measure the impact and effectiveness of L&D programmes
  6. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance and optimise the L&D function to support the company's strategic objectives

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in a learning and development or talent management role, preferably in the power generation or mining industry
  2. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, or a related field
  3. Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences
  4. Proficient in instructional design principles, adult learning methodologies, and the use of learning management systems
  5. Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
  6. Proactive, collaborative, and committed to continuous improvement and innovation
