The role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform, including Marketing Cloud automation, integration, and campaign management systems. This role applies software engineering principles in configuring and optimizing Salesforce technologies to support marketing and business operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and build marketing solutions, including email templates, landing pages, and dynamic content using technologies like HTML, CSS, and AMPscript.
  • Configure and manage automation workflows, journeys, and cloud pages to improve customer engagement.
  • Build and maintain integrations with external data sources and the Salesforce CRM to ensure seamless data flow. Knowledgeable in working with relational databases in relation to target base preparation that satisfies campaign criteria.
  • Manage audience segmentation and subscriber data to deliver personalized marketing campaigns.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Monitor solutions, troubleshoot and resolve issues like data errors or automation failures, and maintain technical documentation.
  • Provides support to campaign management by making sure that the desired campaign journey of the campaign owner(s) is (are) reflected in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Experience

  • 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer
  • Experienced in liaising with stakeholders to gather and validate requirements, estimating development efforts, and aligning deliverables with business goals.

Knowledge

  • Technology Stack Exposure: Angular, AngularJS, ReactJS, , .NET / .NET Core, React Native, Xamarin, Azure Cloud Technologies, MS SQL, Azure DevOps / TFS, OpenShift, Jenkins.
  • Programming Languages: Proficient in HTML, CSS, and AMPscript, the proprietary scripting language of Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Marketing Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of key functionalities such as Journey Builder, Contact Model, and APIs.
  • API Knowledge: Familiar with Marketing Cloud APIs, including major REST API endpoints and their use cases.
  • Certification: Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Engagement Developer (an advantage but not required)

Skills

  • Skilled in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues within the Marketing Cloud platform.
  • Works effectively with marketing and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
