About the role

Times Business Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Bookkeeper/Accounting Staff to join our dynamic team in Manila City, Metro Manila. This full-time role will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our client accounts. As a key member of our Accounting team, you will contribute to the overall financial health and success of the business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Performing general bookkeeping duties such as recording transactions, processing invoices, and reconciling bank statements
  2. Preparing and filing tax returns, payroll, and other financial reports in a timely and accurate manner
  3. Providing administrative support to the Accounting department, including data entry and filing
  4. Collaborating with the wider team to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations
  5. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing efficient accounting practices

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, ideally within a professional services or consultancy environment
  2. Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
  3. Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team
  5. Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask effectively
  6. Relevant educational qualifications in Accounting or a related field
