We seek a Junior Bookkeeper to manage financial transactions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and account reconciliations. The role involves maintaining detailed financial records, resolving discrepancies, and collaborating with internal teams to support financial operations. This position is critical for ensuring efficient cash flow management and compliance with financial policies.

What You'll Do

  • Process accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, payment tracking, and collections.
  • Manage accounts payable tasks, such as verifying and processing vendor invoices and ensuring timely payments.
  • Reconcile account balances and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including aging reports and payment schedules.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address payment disputes and ensure accurate financial documentation.
  • Monitor and update financial systems to reflect accurate transaction data.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational financial policies and procedures.
  • Assist in month-end closing processes, including journal entries and accounts

What You Bring

We're looking for someone who:

  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy or business administration is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, or related financial roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills to address payment disputes effectively.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and compliance standards.
