About the Role

Teemcorp Staff Solutions Inc. is expanding its accounting support team and seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to work closely with our Perth-based accounting team in Western Australia. 

This position is ideal for a highly skilled bookkeeper with solid experience managing Australian clients and an in-depth working knowledge of Xero Practice Manager (XPM). You will play a key role in maintaining accurate client records, reconciling accounts, and supporting compliance and reporting processes. 

We're looking for someone detail-oriented, proactive, and confident working independently in a professional, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-function bookkeeping for Australian clients using Xero and XPM.

  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy in coding and reconciliations.

  • Complete bank and credit card reconciliations in a timely manner.

  • Prepare and process payroll, including PAYG, Superannuation, and leave accruals.

  • Assist with BAS preparation, quarterly reporting, and annual payroll tax lodgements.

  • Liaise directly with the Perth-based accountant for month-end and year-end reporting.

  • Maintain and manage workflow efficiently within XPM for task tracking and deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Certificate IV, Diploma, or Degree in Bookkeeping, Accounting, or related field.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of bookkeeping experience, ideally with Australian clients.

  • Strong proficiency in Xero and Xero Practice Manager (XPM) – essential.

  • Experience with MYOB AccountRight or similar systems an advantage.

  • Excellent understanding of Australian bookkeeping standards, payroll, and BAS processes.
