Location: Work From Home (must have own laptop & stable internet) - Hybrid with twice a month in person meeting

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary Range: ₱15,000 – ₱20,000 / month (depending on experience)


About the Role

We are a starting-up bookkeeping and compliance service business helping Filipino entrepreneurs handle their BIR and SEC requirements — and understand their numbers through our "Kumikita ba Ako?" Business Summary Reports.

We're looking for a proactive and reliable Account Staff who can work from home and is willing to help build the business from the ground up.

You'll assist in setting up client systems, performing bookkeeping tasks, and supporting compliance filings — while helping shape how our operations grow.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform bookkeeping and encoding of client transactions (sales, expenses, payroll, etc.)
  • Assist in preparing and filing BIR forms (2550M/Q, 2551Q, 1601C, 1701Q, etc.)
  • Help prepare Financial Statements (FS) and monthly Business Summary ("Kumikita ba Ako?") reports
  • Organize client documents and maintain digital records (Google Drive / Sheets)
  • Support BIR registration and annual renewal for clients
  • Coordinate with clients for missing receipts, invoices, and documents
  • Assist in creating internal templates, trackers, and onboarding checklists
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Accountant and business owner

Qualifications

At least 2 years in college (Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or Finance)

Completed Accounting 1 and 2 subjects

With experience in bookkeeping or accounting services (at least 1 year preferred)

Knowledge of basic BIR compliance and tax deadlines

Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets (knowledge of Wave, QuickBooks, or Xero is a plus)

Own laptop and stable internet connection (Work From Home setup)

Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and willing to help a startup grow

Self-motivated and can work independently with minimal supervision
