Are you a detail-oriented and dependable accounting professional who thrives on accuracy and organization? We're seeking a Home-Based Bookkeeper to join our DCX team and support our U.S.-based client. In this role, you'll manage daily financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and assist with reporting and reconciliations to ensure financial integrity and compliance.

REQUIRED CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Financially Knowledgeable: Solid understanding of accounting regulations, bookkeeping principles, and compliance standards.

  • Customer-Focused and Reliable: Maintains professionalism when coordinating with internal teams, clients, and vendors.

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

  • ​ Recording Financial Transactions: Accurately record all financial transactions in the accounting system. Maintain and update ledgers, ensuring all entries are precise and properly documented.

  • Accounts Receivable and Payable: Process invoices and ensure timely vendor payments. Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable balances.

  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are promptly addressed.

  • Payroll Processing: Assist in payroll processing by maintaining payroll records using accounting software and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

  • Budget Management: Assist in preparing budgets and monitoring financial performance against budgetary forecasts.

  • Data Entry and Administrative Tasks: Maintain fixed asset and depreciation records. Handle petty cash transactions and reconciliations. Working with staff accountants as needed. Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, financial management, or a related field  

  • Experience: 1-3 years of Bookkeeping experience or General Accounting experience, or equivalent.

  • Language Proficiency: Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills.  

  • Working schedule: Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours. 

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in most Microsoft Office Applications, databases, and accounting software

    • Strong working knowledge of Excel, pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc.

    • Knowledgeable using accounting software and tools, such as QuickBooks, SAP, or other relevant software

    • Proficient in FYLE or similar software experience is preferred

    • In-depth understanding of accounts payable principles, accounting standards, and account reconciliation.

    • Previous working experience as an offshore staff is highly advantageous.   

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Salary Range: PHP 55,000 – 57,000

  • Industry: Promotional

  • Job Type: Full-time

  • Work Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (USA)

  • Workdays: Monday through Friday (USA)
