Digital Geeks Global Services is seeking an experienced and highly proficient QuickBooks Bookkeeper to provide dedicated, remote support for one of our valued US-based clients.

The ideal candidate has vast experience with QuickBooks, an exceptional command of the English language (both written and spoken), and a proven ability to manage all aspects of bookkeeping independently and accurately from a home office. This is a graveyard shift role, supporting US business hours.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our client's day-to-day accounting functions. General duties include, but are not limited to:

  • QuickBooks Management: Perform all core bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks Online (QBO) or Desktop, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Data Entry and Transaction Processing: Accurately record financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
  • Bank and Credit Card Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation of bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial accounts promptly.
  • Accounts Payable (AP): Process vendor invoices, manage vendor communication, and ensure timely payment of bills.
  • Accounts Receivable (AR): Generate and send client invoices, monitor accounts for delinquent payments, and perform collections activities as needed.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of standard monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets.
  • Expense Tracking: Organize and maintain digital records for all business expenses.
  • Payroll Support: Assist with basic payroll data entry and record-keeping, coordinating with the client's payroll provider if necessary.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for financial inquiries, communicating professionally and effectively with the client and internal team members in clear English.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
  • QuickBooks Expertise: Vast and demonstrated experience using either QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop is mandatory.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent command of the English language (both verbal and written) is non-negotiable, as you will be communicating directly with a US-based client.
  • Work-From-Home Experience: Proven experience and comfort working independently in a remote/work-from-home setting.
  • Technical Setup: Must possess a reliable, high-speed internet connection, a quiet workspace, and a professional computer setup suitable for remote work.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional numerical accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Education: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, but extensive experience will be considered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php37,000.00 per month
