Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeping Team Lead/Senior Bookkeeper to supervise and mentor a team of virtual bookkeepers. The ideal candidate is an expert in QuickBooks Online (QBO), has strong leadership capabilities, and is passionate about maintaining excellence in bookkeeping standards and deliverables.

This remote leadership role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional based in the Philippines who thrives in a fast-paced virtual environment and can manage day-to-day financial operations with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support a team of remote bookkeepers in delivering accurate, timely client reports
  • Review bank reconciliations and financial reports before client submission
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of client financial records
  • Conduct regular quality control checks and ensure consistency in deliverables
  • Use tools such as QuickBooks Online, Google Workspace, ClickUp, and 1Password
  • Coordinate with the Senior Manager on team updates and client progress
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any bookkeeping issues raised by the team

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO)
  • Proven experience in leading or supervising a bookkeeping/accounting team
  • In-depth understanding of US GAAP or US bookkeeping practices
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and ClickUp is essential
  • Familiarity with 1Password or similar security tools is a plus

Compensation & Work Setup

  • Monthly Fee: PHP 50,000 – 60,000 (increase after three months)
  • Other Allowances: Paid leaves & company retreat (all expenses paid)
  • Working Hours: EST time zone
  • Work Arrangement: Fully Remote
  • Contract Type: Independent Contractor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php50, Php60,000.00 per month
