Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to prepare a wide variety of baked goods, including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a commercial kitchen or bakery, possess a strong understanding of baking techniques, and demonstrate attention to detail and creativity.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cookies, cakes, and other baked goods according to recipes and production schedules
  • Mix, knead, shape, proof, and bake doughs
  • Monitor oven temperatures and product appearance to ensure quality
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the baking area and equipment
  • Ensure all products meet food safety and quality standards
  • Decorate cakes and pastries using various techniques (optional, depending on the role)
  • Follow inventory and ordering procedures for baking ingredients and supplies
  • Collaborate with kitchen or pastry team on new recipe development
  • Label and store baked goods properly
  • Work early morning, weekend, or holiday shifts as needed

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a baker or in a similar role
  • Knowledge of baking techniques, tools, and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and production instructions
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy bags or trays
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Culinary or baking certification is a plus (but not always required)
