About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled baker helper to join our dynamic team at the Makati (Sports) Club, Inc. in Makati City Metro Manila. As a full-time baker, you will play a crucial role in creating delectable baked goods that delight our members and guests.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing a wide variety of breads, pastries, cakes and other baked items to the highest quality standards
  • Ensuring consistent quality and presentation of all baked goods
  • Adhering to strict food safety and hygiene protocols
  • Collaborating with the culinary team to develop new and innovative recipes
  • Maintaining a well-organised and clean work environment
  • Providing excellent customer service and responding to member requests

What we're looking for

  • Formal training or qualifications in baking or culinary arts
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a professional baker in a high-volume or hospitality setting
  • Excellent knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients and food safety regulations
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality baked goods
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
