Service Delivery Assistant

The Service Delivery Assistant is responsible for developing and maintaining web and mobile applications based on business requirements. Tasks include translating requirements into technical specs, coding, testing, integrating with backend systems, and ensuring high-quality, user-friendly solutions. Collaborates with team members, supports deployments, and contributes to documentation and continuous improvement.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Work on approved BRD and/or User stories as reference to the required features and controls of the application development build.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Web or Mobile development.
- Provide development estimates, ensuring project completion within the allotted timeline and budget.
- Design, develop and maintain web and/or mobile applications according to business requirements.
- Create database design and objects such as stored procedures and triggers, to support the applications and reports being developed.
- Utilize appropriate frameworks, libraries and development tools to streamline development processes and enhance application functionality.
- Create and/or update Technical Specification Document (TSD) following development standards and templates to define the technical details of the solution being developed or enhanced.
- Work in compliance with the development standard coding guidelines, best practices and documentation to maintain high-quality codebase.
- Review program codes and correct program errors, apply code optimization and best practices to improve performance.
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure the quality, performance and usability of web or mobile applications.
- Collaborate with digital designers to implement user interfaces that are intuitive, visually appealing and responsive across different devices.
- Integrate web or mobile applications with backend systems, APIs, and third-party services as required.
- Provide post-implementation support to address any defects or issues identified after the solution is deployed.
- Collaborate and communicate with Web Lead Developer in resolving technical issues, ensuring identified issues are addressed appropriately.
- Assist in the deployment activities of web or mobile applications.
- Share knowledge with other members of the team for professional development, innovation and promote a collaborative work environment.
- Participate in System data migration process.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks required from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or a related field.
- Strong knowledge and skills of data structures, algorithms, system programming, system decomposition, code organization, code readability, defensive coding, testing, code optimization and error handling.
- Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and related frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular).
- Experience with backend development, APIs and integration with databases (RESTful, SOAP APIs, SQL) will be an advantage.
- 1 plus (1+) year of programming experience preferred.
- Team player, with a sense of accountability and ownership.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Fast-learner and willingness to learn new skills and technology
- Must be willing to work onsite in Pasay City
