Role Responsibilities:

Employee Relations Handling

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns and workplace issues across stores and the head office.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints, violations of policies, or misconduct, ensuring fairness and confidentiality.

Policy Compliance and Disciplinary Action

  • Ensure consistent application of company policies across all branches.
  • Coordinate and document progressive disciplinary actions, including coaching, written warnings, and terminations.

Labor Law Compliance

  • Ensure store-level practices align with labor regulations (e.g., DOLE compliance on hours, rest days, due process).
  • Assist in addressing issues raised during inspections or audits.

Store Visits and Support

  • Conduct regular visits to retail locations to assess employee morale and provide HR support.
  • Coach store managers on handling employee concerns and improving team dynamics.

Engagement and Retention

  • Support employee engagement programs tailored to frontliners and support teams.
  • Analyze trends in turnover and absenteeism and recommend action plans to improve employee experience.

Conflict Resolution

  • Mediate conflicts between staff or between employee and supervisor, aiming for win-win resolutions.
  • Recommend interventions such as counseling or team-building initiatives.

Training and Communication

  • Conduct training sessions for retail leaders on employee relations practices, respectful workplace behavior, and policy updates.
  • Communicate HR policies in a clear and engaging manner to store employees.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain detailed and secure records of ER cases, actions taken, and outcomes.
  • Prepare reports and analysis of ER trends to support HR strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or any related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in HR, with 3 years specializing in employee or labor relations.
  • Preferably from a retail, fast-paced, or multi-branch environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and DOLE standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple cases at once.
