The Human Resources Assistant Manager supports the overall management of HR operations and ensures the effective implementation of policies, systems, and procedures that align with company goals. The position assists in planning, coordinating, and supervising HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, training and development, and compliance with labor laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end recruitment processes.
  • Conduct initial interviews and coordinate for the next steps of interviews with hiring managers.
  • Ensure timely onboarding and orientation of new employees.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and welfare programs.
  • Handle employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary cases in compliance with company policies and labor laws.
  • Promote a positive work environment and uphold the company's culture and values.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of the company's performance appraisal system.
  • Work with department heads to identify employee development needs.
  • Provide guidance on performance improvement plans.
  • Assist in drafting and updating HR policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with DOLE and other statutory requirements.
  • Maintain updated employee records and ensure confidentiality of HR data.
  • Coordinate training programs and track employee participation.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training and recommend improvements.
  • Supervise HR officers or assistants in daily operations.
  • Prepare HR-related reports for management review.
  • Participate in strategic HR planning and special projects.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, with 2 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Can start asap.
