About the role

KAYA RESTAURANT is seeking an exceptional Cook to join our talented culinary team in our Central Cebu City, Cebu location. As a fulltime Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and delivering high-quality, creative dishes that delight our customers and uphold our reputation for excellence in the hospitality industry.

What you'll be doing

  1. Expertly prepare a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
  2. Ensure all food preparation, cooking, and presentation adheres to strict food safety and hygiene protocols
  3. Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to develop new menu items and improve existing dishes
  4. Maintain a clean and organised workstation throughout your shift
  5. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to special requests or dietary requirements
  6. Assist with inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies as needed

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cook in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
  2. Strong culinary skills with a passion for creating delicious, visually appealing dishes
  3. Familiarity with a variety of cooking techniques and international cuisine
  4. Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to thrive in a high-pressure kitchen environment
  5. A team player attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen brigade
  6. Commitment to upholding food safety and hygiene standards
