Job Description:
Responsible for supporting the company's compliance with local tax regulations. This role involves coordinating with Local Government Units (LGUs), preparing and organizing tax-related documentation, and assisting in the timely filing and payment of local taxes. The position plays a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient tax operations in accordance with applicable laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and submission of local tax filings and payments.
- Coordinate with LGUs regarding permits, assessments, and other tax-related matters.
- Maintain and update tax records and documentation.
- Support internal audits and respond to tax-related inquiries.
- Monitor changes in local tax regulations and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary data for tax reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
