The Marketing Assistant supports the marketing team in executing campaigns, managing projects, and handling day-to-day administrative tasks. These include brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement goals.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels (social media, email, website, print, etc.)
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer prefrences

  • Support the production of marketing materials like brochures, newsletter, social media posts, and promotional items

  • Update and maintain the company's system and marketing databases

  • Help organize and coordinate events, trade shows, and promotional activities
  • Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics (e.g. engagement, leads, ROI)
  • Liase with external vendors, agencies, and media outlets
  • Assist with the management of social media accounts, including content scheduling and audience engagement
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining marketing calendars

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) and familiarity with email marketing platforms
  • No formal work experience required
  • Internships, or project experience in marketing, social media management, content creation, or event coordination are a plus
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms, SEO, and digital marketing analytics
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
