The Business Development Manager (BDM) for Automotive Accessories is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new market opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the company's customer base within the automotive accessories sector. This role involves market analysis, client acquisition, sales strategy execution, and collaboration with product development and marketing teams to align offerings with customer needs. The BDM will also maintain strong client relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure revenue targets are met or exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue retail business and new B2B and B2C business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealerships, distributors, retailers, and OEM partners.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategy.
  • Prepare and deliver business proposals and product presentations.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align on business goals.
  • Monitor sales performance and market trends; provide regular reports to management.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to promote the brand and products.

Experience and Qualifications Needed:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive Technology, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management—preferably within the automotive accessories or aftermarket parts industry.

  • Familiarity with product lines such as car electronics, exterior/interior accessories, performance parts, etc.
  • Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of automotive market dynamics and distribution channels.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, sales reporting tools, and MS Office.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, events, and business development activities.
